A few shots from the first roll of film I used with my new Pentax K1000. I am sooo in love with it, I think the photo quality is brilliant and I can't wait to take it on holiday with me in a few days!

I HATE SUNDAYS

Got some more film developed! Which felt difficult because I stupidly thought that I could get them developed on a Sunday, I made my sister drive me to Tescos, the photo developing bit was closed and I think they would have to send my film off anyway and not just develop it themselves (They can have one of those stupid places downstairs where people let fish eat their feet, but they can't develop photos?!) so then I went to Boots, their photo shop was closed, I went to an actual photo printing place and they were closed too!! I JUST WANTED MY FILM DEVELOPED.

So I then forced my sister to take me again the next day, I went to Boots, they told me they didn't have time to develop my photos? (IF THEY WERE OPEN ON THE SUNDAY THEY WOULD'VE HAD TIME) I did eventually get my photos developed though so I guess it's aaaaaaaall okay. I still hate Sundays though.

OVER 1 YEAR LATE

Hey! I FINALLY got around to scanning some photos I've taken (after a year+!!) so I just thought I'd share them here! Most are just taken on a disposable camera and the odd few on a simple plastic camera that doesn't really work properly. I have cameras I can use all the time now so I need to get into the habit of getting them developed and scanned a LOT sooner than a year later.

HEAT OF THE MOMENT

  

Hey! SO, I finally gave in to cutting my fringe short again after a few months of growing out, and even though I've been trying to wash the pink from my hair for a few weeks (which was super hard because it wouldn't fully wash out) I just got up today and decided whatEVER i'ma just go crazy because I was in this super YOLO mood, I thought I'd regret it by the end of the day but I'm actually glad I did it, I feel so much better with my short fringe, probably just because it just makes me feel like I'm a little like Bettie Page, the biggest babe ever, so.

I went to the woods and took about a million photos of myself because I felt so good, I kept getting carried away with doing stupid poses and forgot that I'm right next to the footpath so people kept walking past.. as if having bright hair wasn't attracting enough attention. Oh well, yolo livin'.

WHIP IT

OKAY so not quite whippin' it but I got some skates! I LOVE them although I'm not out of the stumbly almost-fally-overy bit yet, I've been wanting some for a while now, so in my head I was imagining me whizzing around jumping over stuff and being a proper pro, but yeah, that aint happening any time soon. I just wanted something to do now that it's summer and the weather is getting better!
p.s trying to set your tripod up, pose and stay still while being on skates and on a HILL isn't something I'd recommend.
